Hi @everyone
Dev blog #15 is now out! - https://galaxyfightclub.medium.com/dev-blog-51-33c90f3fc3bd
__SUMMARY: __
a) Game and Web3 Development
- We've made substantial progress with metadata generation logic for Project T, now shifting our focus onto the game master smart contract - particularly the resources trading logic. This change will enable players to list their in-game resources for sale and make purchases using GCOIN or other tokens.
- Our web3 devs and game devs are collaborating intensively to bridge the gap between smart contracts and the game client, ensuring seamless and reliable communication between them.
- The game client will soon fetch information directly from the smart contract, and react swiftly to on-chain events. This means that purchasing energy with GCOIN will result in an immediate and corresponding increase in a player's energy within the game.
- For Battle Royale mode, we've deployed and are rigorously testing the smart contracts. We're focused on ensuring the smooth operation of features like the purchase of BR tickets, conversion of tickets into GCOIN, distribution of tickets post-match or purchase, and locking up of tickets when a withdrawal request is made.
- To protect our players, we've implemented a safeguard system ensuring that only the owners of wallets can make ticket withdrawal requests. Additionally, tickets are non-transferable NFTs on Polygon
- Our talented 3D model artists are hard at work producing more in-game models for the Armor system. Expect exciting updates in our upcoming dev blogs!
- We've implemented a couple of major upgrades for our PC Client users. The Bakery plugin will deliver superior light baking performance and the Mesh Baker will significantly reduce batches, enhancing game performance
- As for bugs, we're relentless in our pursuit of a flawless gaming experience. We're actively fixing known issues and continuously investigating new ones.
b) Business Development & Marketing
- We've observed that only a tiny 0.8% of Gen1 Fighters are currently listed on OpenSea. After speaking with several community members, we've decided to delist our collection from Blur after June 11th.
- We've inked a strategic partnership with 1kin, a platform that bridges traditional gamers with web3 and community-owned games. Rest assured, we have more partnerships underway with other web3 projects.
- We're joining forces with Polemos to bring you a revolutionary rental platform for all our NFTs. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting development!
- We're exploring alternatives to our community voting platform. We want you, our community, to have a significant say in shaping GFC's future.
- Join us for a scheduled Twitter Space in the second week of June with partners Cyberkongz, Monarch, ZenAcademy, and a few surprise guests!
- We're thrilled to meet you at NFC Lisbon and BerlinWeb3, where we're set to have a big booth and a dedicated speaking slot. If you're planning to attend, let us know!
c) Community
- We've found our new community manager after dozens of interviews. This new addition to our team will be joining us this month and we're eager for you to meet them!
- Congratulations to the winners of the May Twitter competition! We'll reach out to you soon to distribute your well-deserved rewards
