Arena/Overworld Deployment is Starting!
Rangers,
We're excited to announce an update in preparation for the Open Beta Testnet launch later today. Please note that there will be a few hours of downtime as we complete the deployment process.
What to Expect:
Fuel Exchange:
- New Fuel Contracts: We’re updating the fuel contracts on Sepolia, which will cause an interruption during the release. You will need to get the updated client from Epic Games. The Fuel Exchange app will be under maintenance for the duration of the deployment.
Geofenced Locations:
- Travel Animation Issue: Players in certain regions may experience being stuck in the travel animation due to geofencing. This issue has been present since the initial PB4 release, and we’re working with IMX to improve detection and in-game messaging.
Ongoing Balancing:
- We will continuously tweak and monitor game balance, iterating multiple times throughout the testnet release.
Mac Users:
Due to an update to Unreal 5.4, we are experiencing some issues with the Mac version that we are working to resolve:
- Login: You need to launch the game directly from the installation folder. To easily find the installation folder, open the Epic Games client, click on the three dots next to the Illuvium game, select
Manage, then click on the folder icon and launch the Illuvium app.
- No Chat: Chat functionality is currently unavailable on Mac. We’re working to restore this as soon as possible.
