Missions Dashboard Update
Rangers,
We’ve resolved the issues with the Season 2 Missions Dashboard. These fixes include:
- Ensuring all points now display correctly for users.
- The removal of milestone points from Season 2.
- Adjustments to Survival Wave mission points from Season 1, as outlined in ICCP-19.
Your dashboard should now reflect these updates. We appreciate your patience and the valuable feedback you've shared with us!
Technical Difficulties
We know it took longer than expected to fix the issues with the previous deployment from last week, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding. There were a couple of underlying causes that led to this delay:
- A timeout occurred during the migration process, which resulted in some users experiencing duplicated point adjustments. This has been fully remediated as part of the recent patch.
- A delay in running the migration caused points to be adjusted against the wrong season in certain cases. This issue has also been resolved in this patch.
Thank you again for bearing with us while we worked through these challenges. Your support and feedback have been instrumental in helping us improve the experience.
Season 1 - Rewards
We understand many of you have been eagerly awaiting your Season 1 rewards to appear in your mission history. By the end of this week, you’ll be able to view these rewards. We’ll provide further details on Monday, October 1st, regarding the claim timeline. Rest assured, as mentioned before, the 90-day vesting period began immediately after the season ended.
Season 2 - Rewards
As planned, Season 2 will conclude on September 30th. Our intention is to have the rewards paid out by** October 15th**. Like previous seasons, the vesting period for rewards will start on Season 2's conclusion.
Season 3 - Updates
Based on community and council feedback, we have decided to pause Season 3. While this pause is temporary, the council feels it is in the best interest of the DAO to wait until we have tournaments and leaderboards available across all our game modes. (Planned for end of October)
The revamped Season 3 rewards structure is below:
- Overworld Events: 2,040 ILV (17%)
- Tournaments: 5,640 ILV (47%)
- Leaderboards: 1,680 ILV (14%)
- Missions & Milestones: 2,640 ILV (22%)
Total ILV spent: 12,000 ILV
This new structure would save us 18,000 ILV (at current prices) in rewards, allowing us to scale up the rewards as the game's improvements are introduced over the coming months. We’ve added the Overworld events, significantly boosted leaderboards, and reduced allocations for missions in an effort to encourage active participation in the gameplay loop and enticing rewards for players.
