SUMMARY:
a) Game and Web3 Development
- Armour System: The GFC Human Male character’s armour traits are now completed. Work will soon begin on armour traits for other characters, including GFC Female, Beast, Ogre, Reptar, and Alien, ensuring a diverse range of customization options for players.
- Billboard Features: Billboards have been introduced to the arena map, along with new color themes. These billboards allow for dynamic image updates without requiring a full game rebuild, making it possible to easily change content. This feature could be monetized in the future as an advertising space, once there is a large enough player base to attract advertisers.
b) Business Development & Marketing
- New Fighter Integrations: We continue to expand its roster, introducing new fighters from popular NFT communities. Recent additions include Pudgy Penguins, AKCB, TKL, and Moonbirds. As the flagship cross-IP PvP game, GFC remains a hub for NFT communities to compete, maintaining its relevance by integrating fresh content.
- Battle Royal Mode: we arerolling out a new “Battle Royal” game mode, designed to create more inclusive tournaments. This expansion aims to engage more players from various NFT communities, fostering broader participation and helping GFC retain its standing as a dynamic, competitive platform.
- Community Growth: We have been experiencing increased activity across both social media and in-app usage. New users are entering the game and engaging with the community, leading to a rise in tournament participation and overall player retention. The momentum from these expansions is reflected in the strong support from the broader NFT space.
c) Community
- Kaiju Invasion Tournament: GFC has launched an exciting new storyline event where Kaijus have invaded the planet Bruna 8. Players from partner NFT communities, including Pudgy Penguins, AKCB, Rumble Kong League, Moonbirds, BAYC, and The Plague, are called to become heroes and defend the planet. The qualifiers were held on X (formerly Twitter), where communities competed for a spot in the finals.
- Tournament Finals: The finals, titled “Kaijus vs Heroes,” will take place on October 5th at 10 AM EST. The event will feature 3 Kaiju teams and 3 Hero teams, each composed of 2 GFC players and either a Kaiju or Hero. The teams will battle across 3 matches to determine the ultimate champions.
- Streaming and Rewards: The tournament will be streamed across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube. Players stand to win rewards, including 300 $APE for the 1st place team, 200 $APE for 2nd, 100 $APE for 3rd, 50 for 4th, and 15 GK for 5th place.
