Multi-Accounting Policy Clarification
Rangers,
In response to recent activity and ongoing questions around multi-accounting, we’d like to provide a clear outline of what is and isn’t permitted. The Terms of Service (TOS) will also be updated soon to reflect these rules more formally.
To ensure transparency and fairness across the ecosystem:
- Only one account per household may be used to earn rewards.
- Owning multiple accounts is allowed, provided only one is used to compete for rewards. Secondary accounts may be used for training, storing assets, or testing—but not for any form of reward gain.
As the Gauntlet Leaderboard has come under scrutiny regarding multi-accounting, we want to be especially clear:
If you are using multiple accounts and more than one of them ranks in the Top 100 (the reward bracket), you must ensure that only your main account remains in the bracket. If multiple accounts are still in the bracket at the time of the snapshot, you must immediately contact support to have the other accounts deleted. Failing to inform support may result in action against all associated accounts.
These rules are in place to maintain fair competition and uphold the integrity of our rewards system.
F.A.Q
What will happen if I accidently become eligible for rewards on 2 accounts?
Contact support right away and we'll help you sort out the situation.
What does "one account per household" mean?
A household refers to a group of people who share a living space and internet connection—such as family members or roommates. To ensure fair play and prevent exploitation, only one account per household is eligible to earn rewards, regardless of how many individuals live there.
Can I choose which account gets rewards?
No, if more than one account is eligible for the same reward program both accounts may get their rewards stripped and/or banned
Do I have to name my other accounts a certain way?
No, as long as you follow the rules above, your accounts can have totally different names
Can I have an account accidentally enter the rewards bracket every week?
No. Repeatedly getting additional accounts in the rewards bracket—intentionally or not—will be considered an attempt to exploit the system. This behavior undermines fairness and may result in actions taken against all associated accounts.
