In the month of June we continue to improve on the GFC main game incrementally in terms of stability and new features, as well as working up upgrading assets in the overall ecosystem such as our NFT artwork with a focus on testing Project T for a realease in Q3 this year. A quick summary below:
a) Game and Web3 Development
- Server Stability & Support: Fixed peak-hour disconnection issues and handled a wide range of technical and account-related support requests to ensure smooth gameplay and player satisfaction.
- GFC Gen 1 Avatars: Started backend preparation and game logic for the integration of GFC Gen 1 avatars, laying the foundation for the next major content drop.
- Project T Gameplay Overhaul: Merged daily and weekly quests into a streamlined main questline, added an achievements system, introduced new battle buffs, and refined tax, mining, and building logic for a more strategic gameplay loop.
- UI/UX Improvements: Reworked the main screen and battle UI for clarity, added tooltips, categorized building menus, improved icon quality, and fixed key bugs affecting structure placement, unit selection, and campaign logic.
- July Goals: Finalize avatar integration, enter broader testing to stress-test server performance, and continue polishing game mechanics and missing features in collaboration with client testers.
b) Marketing
- Industry Recognition: GFC was featured in PlayToEarn's "Top 10 Web3 MOBA Games," validating our vision for cross-IP PvP gaming and positioning us among the top Web3 titles.
- Comic Book Launch: Shipped our first physical comic series, with overwhelming positive feedback from the community and widespread unboxing posts across social media - marking a major step in our multimedia expansion.
- Thought Leadership & Collabs: Represented GFC in Mario Nawfal's Roundtable on digital identity, partnered with Apechain for a community giveaway, and featured in SUKU's "Hall of Fame" as part of their Web3 treasure hunt experience.
c) Community
- APELECTIONS Tournament: Hosted a 2v2 finals tournament with 600 $APE in rewards, featuring top Apechain community members paired with GFC qualifiers - delivering strong engagement and exciting competition.
- Social Highlights: Tournament content and community reactions gained wide traction on X, reinforcing the value of cross-community events and competitive gameplay in growing our ecosystem.
