NEW PATCH + EXCLUSIVE RESOURECE IN UE5 <:ink:1410360961264779324>
We’re introducing Ink, a brand-new exclusive resource tied to XP earnings in our UE5 game. For the first time, you’ll be able to earn inside our immersive experience!
Alongside Ink, this update also brings weapon balance changes, a fix for hard wallet authentication issues, and more. Full patch notes will drop with the release coming later this week.
To celebrate, we’re running a Double XP Weekend from August 29–31 meaning... DOUBLE THE INK EARNINGS! 🥳
Few important notes on Ink:
XP Conversion: 100 XP = 1 Ink
Distribution: Ink won’t appear instantly in your wallet. It will be airdropped periodically to help us manage distribution and prevent bad actors.
Utility: Ink can be used in SAGE Labs. You’ll be able to deposit it into Phantom Starbases as an upgrading resource, valued at 100,000 LP per Ink. This connects our experiences like never before.
SAGE LABS: NEW PHANTOM STARBASES <:staratlas:830516056934055956>
We’re introducing "Phantom Starbases" to SAGE Labs, designed to serve as an infinite sink. These bases will always remain at Tier 1 and will never progress to Tier 2.
Phantom Starbases are ephemeral, meaning they won’t carry over into C4. However, all materials normally required to upgrade a starbase from Tier 1 through Tier 5 can still be deposited into them.

We've just released an interactive tool for the Star Atlas Community that gives a look behind the curtain of C4 with development tools that we, the ATMTA team, use ourselves.
