Illuvium zkEVM Migration – What’s Changing
Rangers, we’re preparing to migrate Illuvium assets and core services to Immutable zkEVM. This upgrade improves scalability, simplifies collections, and lays the groundwork for future features across the ecosystem.
Your assets remain safe and will be migrated automatically. Some features will be temporarily unavailable during the migration window, and systems will return in phases.
Key changes
- Unique assets remain ERC-721: Illuvials, Illuvitars, Land
- Most other items become stackable ERC-1155 (cleaner inventory + bulk actions)
- Illuvitar bonding is cleaner on zkEVM (upgrades applied to the same Illuvitar)
- Marketplace listings on the current chain will be cleared and must be re-listed after migration
Read first
We are currently aiming for late January to complete the migration. We will share the confirmed timing and a clear phased rollout plan ahead of the migration window.
