Obelisk Rising Closed Alpha Phase 1 Applications Are Now Open
Rangers,
The wait is almost over. The first Obelisk Rising Closed Alpha is about to begin.
To make sure we deliver the best possible experience, testing will roll out in two phases.
Phase 1: Closed Alpha QA
This first phase is dedicated to finding bugs, improving gameplay, and refining the overall player experience before we expand access.
We're looking for players who enjoy testing, provide detailed feedback, and want to help shape the game.
Phase 2: Expanded Closed Alpha
After we've addressed the biggest issues from Phase 1, we'll invite a much larger group of players into the playtest.
Make sure you've joined the Founders List so you're first to hear about future playtests as we expand access.

Phase 1 will also include our first 4-player raid tests. Some sessions will focus on dungeon encounters, while others will focus on boss fights and coordinated group gameplay. The application includes a few raid-related questions to help us build groups and schedule testing sessions.
When reviewing applications, we'll prioritise players who:
- Have plenty of time to actively play over the coming week.
- Can clearly communicate bugs, balance concerns, and UX feedback.
- Previously participated in Illuvium playtests and provided valuable feedback.
- Plan to create content during the Closed Alpha, including streams, videos, guides, or write-ups, while making it clear this is a Closed Alpha build.
- Have helped grow the community by encouraging players to join the waitlist.
